Special Notes on the NFL Helmet Icons

On the right you can see how the sizes will look depending on the Icon Size setting in the Appearance menu. People usually do not set the icon size to 24. As mentioned above, it's usually the operating system that selects this size as a kind of thumbnail display (i.e., a link button). A 16-pixel format wasen't really necessary for this set. At that size, too many of the distinguishing features of each helmet become disolved so it was not worth it for me to process this extra format into the icons. When the 16-pixel format is called for, as when you choose the List or Detail view settings, the operating system will automatically take the 24-pixel version and shrink it to 16.
